During registration, patients are identified and their demographic information is linked to a fingerprint of their choosing.

The system doesn't actually store the fingerprint itself, it stores characteristic information about the fingerprint that it uses for comparison. This type of storage allows your patients to be comfortable in the security of their identity in the event that your computer network is compromised.

On subsequent visits, WriteCheck-In allows the patient to logs in/out using a biometric fingerprint device at the front desk (or a dedicated terminal for high traffic practices).

Using an optional security feature, your staff can require the input of a partial phone number or SSN prior to fingerprint recognition, which can further secure (and speed up) the check in/out process for high volume clinics.

WriteCheckIn provides a log of what patients have checked in with specific dates/times. Linking to WritePad™, the Write Check-In™ lets doctors know what patients are in the clinic at all times and for how long.
